| Christopher Allen, owner of Orange Ink, Inc., a printing company in Orange County, CA has been a supporter of Friendship Homes and Schools. He was invited to join a group traveling to the orphanage they sponsor in Lhasa, Tibet. Envisioning this as a photographic journey, Christopher called his close friend and renowned professional photographer, Larry Stanley, and asked him "Larry, how would you like to go to Tibet?" Thus was born our series of photographs seen on this site. We believe these images reflect and express the unique and mystical depth of our brothers and sisters from the roof of the world. Deeply inspired by our experiences with the culture and people, we wanted to share them with all those who care about Tibet, and in the process help raise money to support and expand the orphanage there. During our visit we were introduced to Bangri Rinpoche, who's profound effect and inspiration prompted us to name our business Bangdu Images. We hope you enjoy our look into "The Soul of Tibet". |
